REESE, JAMES BOYD, August 13, 1946 – September 25, 2006

James Boyd Reese passed away September 25, 2006 at Las Vegas, Nevada, of congestive heart failure. Boyd was born in Malad, Idaho, August 13, 1946, to Helen C. Reese and the late Dale L. Reese. He attended Malad Elementary School until the family moved to Las Vegas. He graduated from Rancho High School and later from Salt lake City Barber College, a career he enjoyed his entire life.

He married Shaunna Smith and they had three children: Dorene (Mike) Wing, James Barton (Robin) Reese, and Andrea (Craig) Ellsworth. They divorced.

Boyd married Jeannene Anderson and they had six children: Stacy (Al) Garcia, Kyhl (Brandi), Christopher (Pam), William, Ronald and Julie Reese. They later divorced.

His occupation of a barber was a profession he truly enjoyed. Being around people, sharing his jokes and hardy laughter was something he looked forward to.

When possible he traveled to the best fishing holes to fish or the mountains to hunt and camp.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale L. Reese; granddaughter, Michelle Wing; grandparents, Hugh and Sarah Clark, and Louise and Nettie Reese.

He leaves behind his mother, Helen; brothers, Dale Jr., (Fran), and Mike (Linda); sister Kay (Gene) Caldwell; nine children; and twenty grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Las Vegas, Sept. 29 and memorial services were held at the Horsley Funeral Home on Oct. 2, 2006. Interment was in the Malad City Cemetery.
