Lola Mary Steed Nalder, 68, Holbrook, died August 7, 1987 in Holbrook of heart failure.
She was born July 27, 1919 in Clearfield, Utah, to Vergil Courtney and Elizabeth Ellen Bunot Steed. She was reared and educated in Taylor, Utah. In 1932 the family moved to Stone.
She married Archie Myrle Nalder May 7, 1937 in Malad. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple May 4, 1979.
Following her marriage they lived in Holbrook for 19 years and then moved to Terry, Montana for 21 years. While in Montana she worked at the Prairie County Hospital for 15 years. In 1977 they moved to Holbrook where they have since resided.
She was a member of the LDS Church, serving as a Primary and Relief Society teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Zero Demonstration Club.
She is survived by her husband of Holbrook, one daughter, Mrs. Russell (Carol Lee) Madsen, Meridian; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Derrell (Maxine) Carter and Mrs. Ray (Ruby) Rose, both of McMinnville, Oregon. She was preceded in death by one infant son.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at noon at the Holbrook LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Dallan Nalder officiating. Burial was in the Holbrook Cemetery.
