NORTH OGDEN – Lois Davis Davis, 69 died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 1994 at the McKay-Dee Hospital Center following an extended illness.

She was born on April 18, 1925 in Ogden, Utah a daughter of Wallace Dewey and Lettie Pettingill Davis.

On Feb. 26, 1946 she married Parley Davis in Malad, Idaho. He died Oct. 2, 1986.

She was a member of the North Ogden Ninth Ward where she had served as Relief Society work director, Relief Society teacher, cub scout leader and 4-H leader.

She had lived in Willard, Utah prior to moving to North Ogden.

Her courage was enduring to the end. She was a great example to her family. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Jeffry Booth. Also thanks to the home care nurses and aides. Especially Sarah and Cheryl and the nursing staff at McKay Dee for all their care and compassion.

Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the North Ogden Ninth Ward, 386 E. Elberta Dr. with Bishop L. Gyle Hollingsworth officiating. Friends may call at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday at the ward from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment in the Ben Lomond Cemetery.
