Lisa Anne Gardner Sykes, 32 died Monday, June 12, 1995, in the Bannock Regional Medical Center, Pocatello, Idaho, of a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was born June 27, 1962, in Atlanta, Georgia, a daughter of Deone H. and Mary Magdalene Starnes Gardner. She married Doug Sykes, May 7, 1994 in Pocatello, Idaho.
Mrs. Sykes was reared and educated in Los Angeles, California, and Blackfoot, Idaho, graduating from Blackfoot High School. She had also lived in Idaho Falls, Malad, and Pocatello. She had been employed by the Mental Health Department.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are her husband, Doug Sykes, of Pocatello; her parents, Mary and DeLon Gardner, Dewville; one brother, Les and Jodi Gardner, 29 Palms, California; two sisters, Michele and Tim Adams, Blackfoot; Lori and Lance Jones, Deweyville. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 17, at the Deweyville LDS Ward Chapel. Interment was at the Deweyville Cemetery.
