SODA SPRINGS- Edythe Davis Summers, 88, of Soda Springs, formerly of Tremonton, Utah, passed away Sunday, July 30, 1995 at the Caribou Memorial Nursing Home in Soda Springs. She was born December 24, 1907 at Malad, Idaho, the daughter of Titus David and Catherine Lewis Davis. She married Marion Thomsen Summers, May 21, 1926 at Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Summers passed away February 13, 1976.

Edythe had lived most of her life in Tremonton, Utah, living in Soda Springs since 1991. She was educated in Garland, graduating from Bear River High School in 1925. She was a member of the Soda Springs LDS 2nd Ward. She worked in retail sales her entire life in ladies stores until79 years of age.

She enjoyed music, singing, sport and especially the Utah Jazz.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Robert M. and Bonnie Summers, Dave and Kaye Summers all of Soda Springs; Joan Holder, Sandy, Utah, and Kathy and Steven Green, Bountiful, Utah; also 15 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois and two brothers, Ray L. Davis and Glen L. Davis.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 3 at 1 p.m. At the Tremonton First and Seventh Wards Chapel in Tremonton, Utah. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 7 to 8p.m., at the Allen-Sims Funeral home in Soda Springs and on Thursday at the Fist and Seventh Ward Chapel in Tremonton from 11:30 to 12:45. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Tremonton.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Caribou Memorial Nursing Home in Soda Springs.
