Funeral Saturday for Mrs. Lilly J. Reed, 83

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Benson Funeral Home with Bishop Darrell Swartz officiating, for Mrs. Lilly Jensen Reed, age 83, who died Tuesday [August 22, 1972] at Huntington Beach, Calif., of natural causes.

Mrs. Reed was born Sept. 25, 1888, at Oregon City, Oregon, a daughter of Paul and Jencina Christensen Jensen. She was married to James H. Reed in February, 1906, at Malad. He died July 24, 1964.

Mrs. Reed lived in Montpelier and Malad, and moved to California in 1964. She was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are three sons, James P., Salem, Utah; John A., Kaysville, Utah; Toney, Huntington Beach, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Einer Jensen, Montpelier; a sister, Mrs. Parley (Ethel) Webb, Kaysville, Utah.

Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home, Friday evening and Saturday prior to service. Burial at Malad City Cemetery will be directed by Benson Funeral Home.
