DANIEL REED

DANIEL REED, FORMER RESIDENT, DIES OF HEART AILMENT MONDAY

Daniel Reed, 49, died Monday [January 20, 1958] of a heart attack while at work at the Hill Air Force Base in Ogden.

Mr. Reed was born Aug. 8, 1908, in Malad, a son of John Thomas and Mary Jane Josephson Reed. He had been employed as an electrician at Hill AFB for the past four years.

He was a member of the LDS Thirteenth Ward. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Apgood Reed, Ogden; three stepsons and one stepdaughter, Morgan K., Barton W., and Max H. Mifflin and Miss Jean Mifflin, Ogden; the following brothers and sisters; William J. Reed, South Gate Calif.; Thomas Reed, Weippe, Idaho; Theodore Reed, Swan Valley, Idaho; Sylvester Reed and Mrs. Nephi (Ivy) Price, Malad; Mrs. Henry (Mary Ellen) Price and Mrs. Carol Florke, Glendale, Calif.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at noon in the Larkin Chapel by Bishop William J. Galbraith.

Burial was in the St. John Cemetery.
