Services Held For Mrs. Julia C. Peck

Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Ann Campbell Peck, 82, who died Friday, November 13th, [1964] at the Dee Hospital in Ogden were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden with Bishop Lavon T. Allred of the Ogden 23rd LDS Ward officiating.

Mrs. Peck was born April 9, 1882, at Weston, Idaho, a daughter of John H. and Julie Fifield[sic] Campbell. She married Howard Peck in Salt Lake City March 18, 1901. He died May 12, 1942.

Mrs. Peck, who was a former Malad resident, was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Rebekah[sic] Lodge of Malad. An active member of the United Presbyterian Church of Malad, she was a Sunday School teacher, treasurer and president of the Presbyterian Ladies Aid. She also served as president of the Civic Betterment Association in Malad for six years. She has been a resident of Ogden for the past 13 years.

Survivors include three sons; Howard and Roy, both of San Francisco; Lyle Keansburg, New Jersey; one daughter, Mrs. Jay (Irma) Rampton[sic], Ogden; two stepsons, Stanton Peck, Salt Lake City; Sherman Peck, Joshua Trees, Calif.[California]; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters; Arnold R. Campbell, Sandy; Alma Campbell, Los Angeles; Mrs. Nessie[sic] Jones, Magna; Mrs. S. A. (Ethel) Woodard, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Roselsic Andrews, Mar Vista, Calif.[California].

Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
