Interment here Jan. 6th for Mrs. Lucretia Jones Peck, 86

Interment services were conducted at the Malad City Cemetery Wednesday, Jan. 6th, for Mrs. Lucretia Jones Peck, age 86, who died Jan. 3rd [1971] in an Ogden nursing home of natural causes. Funeral services were conducted at Ogden earlier that day.

Mrs. Peck was born born[sic] Aug. 14, 1884 at Malad, a daughter of William E. and Lucretia Lusk Jones. She was married to Henry W. Peck, Oct. 9, 1907, at Malad. He died July 2, 1925. Mrs. Peck was employed at Hill Air Force Base during World War II and retired in 1947. She was a member of the LDS Church and worked in the Relief Society.

Surviving are a son, Earl H. Ogden; daughters, Mrs. H. S. (Edna) Hilyard[sic], Murray; Mrs. Bernelsic Chambers, Roy, Utah; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Jones, McCammon; Mrs. Delila Ward, Malad.

Attending the services at Ogden were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Thomas, Mrs. Bernice Williams, Mrs. Delila Ward, Frayne Jones, Perry Jones, Vernon Jones, Mrs. John J. Williams, Mrs. Glenn W. Jones, Mrs. Millie Lamb, Mrs. Claude Williams.

After the interment here, family members met at the home of Mrs. Delila Ward where a lunch was served.
