Former Maladian Dies In Ogden

William M. Peck, 72, died Friday morning at his home in Ogden after an extended illness.

Mr. Peck was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

He was born Dec. 31, 1884, in Malad, a son of Howard and Jane Woolzley Peck. He had lived in Ogden since 1915. On December 5, 1917, he married Maude King in Murray.

He had been employed by the Ogden City Waterworks Dept.

Surviving are his widow, Ogden; two sons, Wayne K. and Farris W. Peck, California; his stepmother, Mrs. Julia Peck, Ogden; five brothers, Stanton Peck, Salt Lake City; Sherman Peck, California; Howard and Roy Peck, San Francisco; Lyle Peck, New York City; one sister, Mrs. Jay (Erma) Rampton, Ogden.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Myers and Foulger Rose Chapel Mortuary by Rev. A. Cadman Garretson.
