JOY THOMPSON

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt was taken quickly from us on October 30, 2005 at her home, surrounded by family.

Born May 1, 1932 in Turner, ID to Benjamin A. and Violet M. Revoir Richards. Married William B. Thompson on August 24, 1951 in Malad, ID, later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Member of the LDS church, where she served in various callings with Primary being her first love. Loved to quilt and loved gardening, enjoyed camping with her family and being outdoors. Her life was her family.

Survivors, husband, children: Will (Sarah), Lana Thompson, two grandchildren, Joshuah and Michael. One sister, Lana Richards. Many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: parents, one brother Fred, one sister Ann.

Funeral services will be held Thurs. Nov. 3, 2005 10:30 a.m. at the Midvale East 5th Ward 240 E. 7075 So. Viewing Wednesday Nov. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 So.) and one hr. prior to the services at the church. Interment Clarkston City Cemetery
