John M. Whitworth

KAYSVILLE—John Milton Whitworth, 86, passed away Wednesday, July 8,1992 in Clearfield.

He was born April 9, 1906 in Chesterfield, Idaho, a son of John Thomas and Catherine Muir Whitworth. He married Emma Hughes Dec.19, 1925 in the Logan LDS Temple; she passed away April 14, 1928. He married Anna Shuldberg Sept. 25, 1929 in the Logan LDS Temple; she passed away in May of 1969. He was reared and educated in Chesterfield, Idaho; lived in Preston and Downey, Idaho and had his business in Malad, Idaho. He came to Salt Lake City in 1958 where he owned and operated Granger Auto Supply. He had lived in the Kaysville-Clearfield area the past eight and half years.

He was an active member of the LDS Church, served a mission In the North Eastern mission, served in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for 11 years, was a High Priest Group leader and a faithful home teacher.

Surviving are three sons and three daughters and their spouses, Roy T. Whitworth and Bonnie, Magna; Dean L. Whitworth and Sandy. West Valley City; Don Q Whitworth and Candy, Sandy; Catherine W. Olson and Arvid, Kaysville; Kliss A. Sparks and Elwyn, Cokeville, Wyo.; Joan W. Archibald and Merlin, Tremonton; 25 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary ODonnell, Seattle, Wash.; Jennie Kerman, Cle Elum.Wash.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 11, 1992, 12 noon at the Colony Ward, 4250 South 4800 West, West Valley City. Friends may call Friday at Undqulsts Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, from 7-830 p.m. and Saturday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley. T7/10 N7/10
