Jennie Cutler Eliason

ELIASON, JENNIE CUTLER, October 4, 1892 – December 18, 1962

Funeral services will be conducted December 21st at the Malad Stake LDS Chapel for Mrs. Jennie Cutler Eliason, 70, who died Tuesday morning in the Oneida Hospital after a long illness. Bishop Waldo Blaisdell of the Holbrook Ward will officiate. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery. Benson Funeral Home is in charge of the servies.

Mrs. Eliason was born October 4, 1892 at Brigham City, a daughter of Jonathan C. and Rebecca Nelson Cutler. Educated in the Brigham City and Snowville schools, she was married to Chester A. Eliason May 25, 1911 at Malad. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple in October, 1913.

The couple homesteaded in the Holbrook area. An active member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Elaison was a past Primary and Relief Society president of the Holbrook Ward and was a visiting teacher. She was also a member of the American War Mothers and the Fine Arts Club.

Survivors include her husband, Holbrook; two sons and two daughters: Ray C. Eliason, Malad; Don C. Eliason, Holbrook; Mrs. James M. (Norma) Burnett and Mrs. J. Glenn (Marie) Minson, both of Ogden; 17 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters: Newell J. Cutler, Washakie, UT; DeLamar Cutler, Lancaster, CA; Lowell Cutler and Mrs. O.J. (Juanita) Chugg, both of Ogden; Mrs. Floyd (Maria) Wells, Corinne, UT; Mrs. John (Mrytle) Blaisdell, Mesa, AZ.
