Delone (Dee) Eliason

ELIASON, DELONE, January 3, 1911 – February 22, 1990

LOGAN, UT – Delone (Dee) Eliason, 79, of Logan, a former Southeast Idaho resident, died February 22, 1990 at Sunshine Terrace here. He was born January 3, 1911 in Malad to Bert and Anna Daniels Eliason.

He married Lola Anderson on December 26, 1941 in Burley.

He lived in Stone until 1972, moving to Smithfield, UT, where he lived from 1972-88. He moved to Logan in 1988. He was a cattle rancher throughout his life until his retirement in 1972. He was greatly interested in land management and range forage for cattle, and was known for his horses.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Logan Ninth Ward. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and golf.

Survivors include his wife of Logan; one daughter, Deanne Eliason, Salt Lake City; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and one sister, Gertrude Cherrstron, LaCanada, CA.

Funeral services were held Friday at noon in Logan. Burial was in the Smithfield City Cemetery.
