GREEN, JARED, November 20, 1876 – (?), 1956

McCAMMON, IDAHO – Jared Green, 80, a resident of McCammon for 40 years died Thursday in a Marsh Valley Hospital of causes incident to age.

Born November 20, 1876 in Woodruff to Jared and Dellaretta Harris Green. Married Hilda Thoem in March, 1901 at Anaconda, MT. Employed as an electric crane operator at smelters in Anaconda for many years. Came to McCammon in 1917. Was a partner in a meat market for several years. Operated a farm for six years. Employed in the Bannock County shops until retirement.

Survivors: widow; sons, Harold M., McCammon; and Harvey, Payette; daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Rowwe and Mrs. Ruth Rowe, McCammon; a brother, V.W. Green and two sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Ray and Mrs. Monia Treasure, McCammon; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral Saturday in the McCammon LDS Ward Chapel. Burial in the McCammon cemetery.
