Edna Evans Green

GREEN, EDNA EVANS, August 13, 1886 – June 8, 1969

Funeral services for Edna Evans Green, 83, at McCammon who died in the Marsh Valley Hospital at Downey following g a sudden illness.

Mrs. Green was born at Brigham City, August 13, 1886, a daughter of Jonah and Jane Morse Evans. She married Joseph Albert (Bert) Green, December 19, 1906 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Mrs. Green spent her early childhood in Malad Valley and, after her marriage, resided in Woodruff and later moved to McCammon.

Her husband died in March, 1966. A son and daughter also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Green was an active member of the McCammon LDS Ward. She had served as a primary teacher; a counselor in the Relief Society and also held other positions throughout her life.

Surviving are three sons, Albert, Fort Hall; Ralph, Omaha, Nebraska; John, Evanston, WY; three daughters, Mrs. W.L. (Luciel) Wilson, Downey; Mrs. Ted (Donna) Rowe and Mrs. Glade (Dorothy) Rowe, McCammon; 23 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; a brother, Jonah Evans, Malad; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Oliverson, Salt Lake City
