Funeral services were conducted Monday at Benson Funeral Home for Mrs. Jane Thomas Stayner, age 86, who died June 29th of natural causes at Weber County Memorial Hospital, Roy, Utah.

Bishop Gene Edwards officiated. Family prayer was offered by Dale Thomas; invocation, Lynn Stayner; benediction, Rex Daniels. Speakers were Nolan Blaisdell, Bishop Edwards and Erma Yearsley, who gave the obituary. Helen E. Jones sang a solo accompanied by Myra Jean John, who also played prelude and postlude music.

At the St. John Cemetery, dedicatory prayer was offered by Raiford G. Benson. Caring for the flowers were members of the St. John Relief Society, Lois Hess, president.

Casket bearers were William Hampton, Barton Jones, John Thomas, D. R. Jones, Gary Jones and Morris Thomas, Jr.

Mrs. Stayner was born Sept. 6, 1886, at Malad, a daughter of David S. And Martina Larsen Thomas. She married Arthur Stayner, Sept. 15, 1908, at Malad. She was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are her husband, Los Angeles; daughters, Mrs. L. V. (Venna) Hampton, San Jose, California; Theda Stayner, Ogden; three grandchildren and a great grandchild; three brothers and a sister; Morris Thomas, James Thomas, Thomas F. Thomas, all of Malad; Mrs. Rollie (Annella) Jones, Ogden.

Benson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
