EVANS, JANE McKAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Jane McKay Evans, 90, formerly of Malad, who died January 20, 1955 in Los Angeles, CA, were held Friday in Los Angeles.

Mrs. Evans was born May 28, 1864 in Salt Lake City and in 1879 moved to Malad with her parents, James B. and Jane Smith McKay.

She was the mother of eleven children, five of whom survive, namely: Mrs. Mattie Thompson, Laguna Beach, CA; Mrs. Millie McQuire, Earl Evans, Los Angeles; Mrs. Pearl Daniels, San Francisco; Bud Evans, Sun Valley, CA; also nine grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Gleed, Malad.
