Cagle, Ila Rae – 3 Mar 1927

Downey-Ila Rae Cagle, 68, longtime Downey resident, died Sunday, November 5, 1995 at her home.

She was born March 3, 1927 in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of Brigham Oren and Ethel Brooks Rose Kent. She was educated in Malad and St. John. She married Forrest W. Cagle on August 16, 1944 in Ogden, Utah. Her life was devoted to being a wife and mother. Mrs. Cagle was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, and she worked in Primary.

She is survived by her husband, Forrest; one son, Ronald F. Cagle; two daughters, Cherolyn and Jene Day of Downey, Linda and Junior Leissring of Bancroft; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Arlene Wayment of Odgen, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lillian.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 10 at noon at the Marsh Valley Funeral Home, Arimo. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 until the time of service. Burial will be in the Downey City Cemetery.
