HOLBROOK – Horace Burbank Rawlins, 78, Holbrook, died Sunday morning [June 6, 1985] in Lewiston, Utah, at the home of his brother.

He was born January 3, 1907, at Lewiston, Utah, to Jasper A. and Cora Mae Burbank Rawlins.

He married Arvilla Housley September 20, 1928, in Logan, Utah. She died January 24, 1964.

He was raised and educated in the Lewiston and Cove areas in Cache County. He graduated from North Cache High School in Richmond, Utah.

He had lived in Holbrook for the past 10 years. While living in Utah, he farmed and drove the school bus for 18 years. He was a high priest in the Holbrook LDS Ward. He served a two-year LDS mission in Texas from 1926 to 1928 and served an LDS mission with his wife in England from 1972 to 1974.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lee (Melna) Coleman, Manilla, Utah; Mrs. Aaron (Erma) Hill, Holbrook; Mrs. Mel (Cora) Hollingsworth, Bancroft; three brothers, Ariel Rawlins, Believue, Washington; Reed L. Rawlins, Trenton, Utah; Lindsay M. Rawlins, Lewiston, Utah; one sister, Mrs. Mae R. Jorgensen; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 4, at the Holbrook LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Holbrook Cemetery.
