Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Sarah Little Owens, 67, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Malad Second Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mrs. Owens died Monday at her residence in Malad following a short illness.
Bishop A.G. Willie of the Second Ward will be in charge of the services. Burial will be in Malad City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home Wednesday evening and Thursday until time of the services.
A daughter of Jeddiah Grant and Elizabeth Thursday Little, Mrs. Owens was born Jan. 29, 1886, at Morgan, Utah. She moved to Malad when 18 years old.
She was married to Dr. Richard E. Owens, June 16, 1908, at Malad. Mrs. Owens was a member of the L.D.S. Church, a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge 4194, and secretary of the Malad Rebecca Lodge, Ruth Chapter.
Survivors include four sons and two daughters: Richard T. and Jack T. Owens, both of Ogden, Utah; Jedd G. Owens, Billings, Mont., and Stanley R. Owens, Los Angeles; Mrs. Harold E. (Helen) Thomas, Lava Hot Springs; Mrs. J. Reed (Isabel) Nielsen, Portage, Utah; 15 grandchildren, one brother and four sisters: Mrs. Ernest Little, Mrs. Hester Robinson, Mrs. Walter Nelson of Morgan; Mrs. Margaret Haigh of Three Forks, Mont., and Mrs. Frank Martin, Manhattan, Mont.
