EVANS, HEBER GRANT, January 27, 1926 – May 8, 1983

Heber Grant Evans, 57, Covina, CA, a former Malad resident died May 8, 1983 as the result of an accident at his home.

He was born January 27, 1926 in Malad to Heber and Millie Price Evans. He was reared and educated in Malad, graduating from Malad High School. He married Inga Critchfield Sept. 22, 1952.

He had worked several years in the real estate business. He was active in the LDS Church and served on the High Council and in the ward bishopric.

Survivors include his wife, Covina, Ca; three daughters, Stephanie Baker, West Jordan, UT; Ranae Borland, Caremont, CA; and Deborah Bates, Covina, CA; nine grandchildren; four sisters, Delaine Bateman, Boise; Orlene Keefer, Cave Junction, OR; Elda Budge, San Diego, CA; and Anna Mae Evans, Portland, OR.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at the Malad City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Benson Horsley Funeral Home, Malad.
