Mr. Evans was born at Malad, September 5, 1888, a son of W.W. and Mary Jones Evans. He married Ethel Bolingbroke on May 15, 1912 in Malad.
He was educated in Malad schools. He carried mail on the rural mail route for eight years. He was also a farmer and service station operator.
He is survived by his widow; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Ripley, Malad and Mrs. Effie Smith, Downey, CA.
