H. Claude Lish, 5 January 1937

DOWNEY – Claude Lish, a very special person, passed away July 6, 2002 at the age of 65. He was born January 5, 1937 to Don and Mable Lish. He graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 1955. He retired from Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 in July, 1996, after 35 years as a crane operator. He was a loving family man and an avid sportsman.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife, Rita; son, Tony (Susan) Lish of Draper, UT; daughters, Carma (Scott) Fitzgerald of Garland, UT; Barbara (Brian) Petersen of Sandy, UT; and Catherine Cardoza of Central Point, OR; his mother; 12 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Dennis (Beverly) Lish, Darrell (Kathy) Lish, and Norman (Marsha); sisters, Shirlee (Gene) Kirkpatrick, Joy (Ken) Morey, Geraldine (Dave) Curzon, Gay Sanford, Connie (Gary) Cunningham, Diane Lish (Brent) Beckstead, Betsy (Bill) Howell, Brenda (Forrest) Whitworth, and Leola (Thayne) Casperson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and grandson.

A funeral service will be held July 13, 2002 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary. Interment will be in Redwood Memorial Park.
