Floyd Richard Long, age 77, died November 10, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah of complications following heart surgery.

Born November 24, 1916 in Malad, Idaho to S.E.Calvin and Verla Bell Faulk Long. Married Pauline Larsen on March 6, 1942 in Salt Lake City.

Retired from First Security Bank. Avid “Volks Marcher,” a walking-group. Enjoyed rides on weekends and the outdoors. Was a kind and helpful friend, always doing things to help others. Veteran of World War II.

Floyd loved his family. Survived by his wife, Pauline; two daughters, Sheryl (John) Grace, Salt Lake; and Debra (Jay) Moore, West Jordan; one son, Kenneth (Carrie) Long, Erda, Utah; seven grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; two sisters, Blanche Henderson, Oakland, Calif; and Ethel Delzer, West Valley City.

Graveside services Saturday, November 12, at 1 p.m., Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue & N Street. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday evening, 7-8 p.m., and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
