GLEED, GORDON K.

Gordon K. Gleed, 51 of Elk City, Idaho, and a former Malad resident, died April 21, 1991 at his home in Elk City of natural causes.

He was born April 5, 1940 in Malad, a son of Hubert S. and Mary Morgan Gleed. He grew up and was educated in Malad and was a graduate of Malad High School. He later attended Idaho State University and was a graduate in Wildlife Management from the University of Oregon.

For many years he had worked for the Forest Service and had been stationed in Klamath Falls, OR, Libby, MT, Nordman and for the past several years in Elk City.

Mr. Gleed had never married.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held the office of elder. He loved all outdoor activities, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his father, Hubert Gleed, of Malad; two brothers, Norman Hubert of Eagle, ID and Floyd M. of Malad; two sisters, Mrs. Larry (JoAnn) Tuttle, North Ogden, and Mrs. Dennis (Mary Margaret) Johnson, Salt Lake City; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
