Gladys Smart dies March 1

Gladys Smart, 83, Lava Hot Springs, died Thursday, March 1, at a local hospital following an illness.

She was born to William and Daisy Ferguson Heaton, in Susanville, Oregon, on August 6, 1900. She was married to Perry Smart who died in Boise in 1966.

Survivors include one sister, Ore Dew, Sparks, Nevada; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be announced later by the Downard Funeral Home, 241 N. Garfield, Pocatello.
