GERALDINE THOMAS

McCAMMON – Geraldine Adele hall Thomas, 59, McCammon, died August 6, 1986 in Bannock Regional Medical Center following a short illness.

She was born January 7, 1927 in Detroit, to Lawrence and Christine Taylor Hall and was reared in Detroit where she attended school.

On November 8, 1945 she married Robert E. “Gene” Thomas in Detroit and they moved to Hazelton, ID in 1976. Since 1977 they have made their home in McCammon.

Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Presbyterian Church and had also attended the United Methodist Church in Willow, Michigan.

She was active in the PTA, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Survivors include her husband of McCammon; two sons, the Rev. Timothy Gene Thomas, West, Texas; Orson Glenn Thomas II, McCammon; three daughters, Judy Lea Bisson, Romulus, Michigan; Kathryn Mary Baumgardner, Kimberly; Suzanne Jo Thomas, Twin Falls; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.

Funeral services were Saturday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Frisbie officiating. Burial was in the Norton Cemetery in McCammon.
