FUNERAL SERVICES FOR GEO. MOSS

Funeral services for George Moss were held Saturday afternoon at Malad LDS Second Ward with Bishop Guy Servoss in charge.

Speakers included Benjamin Lundberg of Woodruff, Roy Hale of McCammon and J.M. Isaacson of Pleasantview and the bishop.

Musical numbers consisted of two numbers by the St. John Quartet, Morgan Tovey, lester Tovey, Edward Woozley and Melvin Yearsley, and a vocal solo by Stillman Harris and Mrs. Blodwin Price, all accompanied by Mrs. Marteal Hendricks.

The invocation was offered by Bishop Verl Moon of Cherry Creek and the benediction by John R. Gibbs of Portage, Utah.

Interment was in the Malad cemetery with Elvoid L. Gibbs of Portage dedicating the grave.

Mr. Moss was found dead in his car Thursday at 4 p.m. (no date of death) on the highway 12 miles south of Malad. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.

The care was first noticed about 6:30 a.m. by Mrs. Lawrence Wells of Woodruff. Thinking that someone was merely sleeping in the car, Mrs. Wells did not investigate at the time, but about 3 p.m., when passing in their car, Mrs. Wells and Mrs. Margaret Jones of Cherry Creek stopped, investigated and notified officers. Coroner Joseph R. Davis stated cause of death was heart attack and an inquest will not be conducted.

Surviving are Mr. Moss and five sons and a daughter, Mrs. A.M. Ward and Gene and Norval Moss of Salt lake City, Stillman Moss of Seattle, Wash.; Robert Moss of Ogden and Wilbur Moss of Ely, Nevada.
