FUNERAL AT SAN DIEGO FOR GEORGE M. DAVIS, 78

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at San Diego for George M. Davis, 78, who died June 11th (1974) at Marcy Hospital, San Diego. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Mr. Davis, a 57-year resident of San Diego, served in the US Navy during both WWI and WWII, retiring in 1945. He then worked for 17 years as a store keeper at the US Naval Supply Depot.

He was a member of Branch 9 Fleet Reserve Association, and the LDS Church.

Mr. Davis was born at Samaria, a son of the late Hyrum and Alice Davis. Among his survivors are his wife, Jessie; sons, Robert and Deane, both of San Diego, four grandchildren and a sister.
