GEORGE E. THOMSON, AGE 66, DIED DECEMBER 12TH IN NEBRASKA

A former Malad resident, George E. Thomson, age 66, died December 12, 1970 at Scottsbluff, NB of complications following surgery.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday in Salt Lake City, with burial in the SLC Cemetery.

Mr. Thomson was born July 11, 1904 at Pleasantview, ID to George A. and Rose Evans Thomson. Educated here, he married Audrey Jones in Salt Lake City.

Mr. Thomson was a past manager of Pacific Fruit and Produce Co., Salt Lake City, and a past member of the Provo Lions Club.

Surviving are his widow, a son, Jerry, both of Salt Lake City; daughter, Mrs. John (Judy) Fedak, Ontario, CA; three grandchildren; brothers, Robert E., Pocatello; Silas E., Phoenix, AZ; Melvin E., Odessa TX; Mrs. Sherm (Ruth) Lund, Roy E., Bountiful; Mrs. Art (Margaret) Davis, Idaho Falls; Ren E., Malad.
