Gary Joe Copen (Age 38)

Gary Joe Copen, 38, died Nov. 28 (1977) in an Ely, Nevada Hospital after a long illness.

He was the son of Floyd M. and Ruth Goddard Copen, former Malad residents.

The past few years he was employed at the Nevada State Bureau of Services to the Blind, vending facility, at Carson City.

Funeral services were held Dec. 1, at the Ely Stake Building with Bishop Bradley Zollinger conducting and offering the invocation.

Speakers were Bruce Wilkins, Bishop Cliff Utley and Bishop James Anderson. Three vocal selections were sang by Pres. and Mrs. F. Dean Brunson, accompanied by their daughter, Susan Green.

The benediction was given by Bishop Bud Hendrix.

Floyd M. Copen Jr., gave the dedicatory prayer at the cemetery.
