George S. Corey

George S. Corey (Birth 30 Jun 1905/Death 28 May 1985)

SEATTLE – George S. Corey, 79, died May 28th (1985) in Seattle following a lengthy illness. He was a former Malad resiĀ¬dent. He was born June 30, 1905, in Iowa, to Robert C. and Claudia Lane Corey. He attended schools in Montana and Alberta, Canada. He married Pauline Feeiboes at Mott, N.D., on July 10, 1935. He operated a photography shop there and in Malad prior to moving to Seattle where he worked in the shipyards during WWII and later as a sheetmetal installer.

While in Malad he was very active in Boy Scouts.

Surviving are his wife, Seattle; two sons, Bixby, Seattle and Delmar, Lake Tahoe, Nev.; four daughters, Mrs. Haven (Delia) Snyder, Auburn, Wn.; Mrs. Bruce (Roberta) Rice, Germany; Mrs. Ken (Paula) Knudson, Bothell, Wn.; Mrs. Wes (Beverly) Spore, Kenmore, Wn.; 10 grandchildren; a brother Edgar Corey, Mitchell, S.D.; a sister, Mrs. Earl D. (Mary) Matthews, Malad.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at Kenmore Assembly of God Church, and interment will be in Seattle.
