LaRUE TEW DIES MONDAY

Florence LaRue Morris Tew, 78, Malad, passed away November 10, 1980 at the Oneida County Hospital of a lengthy illness.

She was born October 6, 1902 at Logan, UT, a daughter of George Morris and Annie Mitchell Morris. She married Arthur Tew June 18, 1924 at St. John, Idaho.

She was reared and educated at Daniels, Idaho. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as Primary president in the Pleasantview Ward for ten years, MIA teacher and a Relief Society visiting teacher for more than thirty years. She was Oneida County Librarian for over ten years.

She spent her life in the Malad Valley area, living in Malad City sicne 1958.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Tew, Malad; two sons and one daughter: Wendell A. Tew, Sacramento, CA; F. Eugene Tew, Ogden, UT; and Mrs. Roger C. (Marilyn) Christensen, Soda Springs, ID; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Clem (Lorraine) Walker preceded her in death.

Also surviving are one brother and one sister, Orlando Morris, Arco, ID and Mrs. Loren (Analyle) Richards, Malad.

Funeral services will be conducted November 13 in the Malad Second Ward Chapel with Carl Willie officiating.

Interment in the Malad cemetery.
