GAFNEY, FLORENCE CASPER PETERSEN

Mrs. Florence Casper Petersen Gafney, age 78, died September 14, 1976 in an Edmonds, WA Nursing Home.

Mrs. Gafney was born May 15, 1898 at Lewisville, Jefferson County, Idaho, a daughter of George E. and Eliza Ray Casper.

She was married to Lloyd Petersen March 13, 1918 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Petersen died May 9, 1929. She was married to Bennett W. Gafney August 4, 1931 in San Bernardino, CA. He died in August, 1959.

Mrs. Gafney attended Ricks College and was an active member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include one son, Willard L. Petersen, Bothwell, WA; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Charles W. Casper, Lewisville, ID; Mrs. Mary Sweeten of Malad.
