Betty Kay Davis Gardner, 14 May 1936

Betty Kay Davis Gardner, 66, of Malad passed away on September 26, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born May 14, 1936 in Malad, the daughter of Lester M. and Ada Jayne Davis. She grew up on the family farm in St. John and was a graduate of Malad High School. Betty married Bernard H. Gardner on February 2, 1956. Their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Temple.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Jason Gardner. She is survived by her son, Cole (Lori) Gardner and their children Rainie and Colbie Gardner and Tyson Christensen, all of Malad; daughter in law, Judy Fricke and grandchildren, Sonny Gardner and Jocelyn Fricke, all of Layton, UT; two sisters, JoAnne Davis Allsop Parsons of Malad and Connie (Ned) Baker of Spanish Fork, UT; and one brother, Niah (Christine) Davis of Malad.
