EUGENE DALE (MIKE) PARKER

WASHINGTON TERRACE – Eugene D. (Mike) Parker, 89, died at his home Saturday, March 26, 2005 of causes incident to age.

He was born April 9, 1915 in Riverdale, Utah, a son of Edwin B. and
Ella Elmer Parker. He was raised in Riverdale and spent his growing
up years helping on the family farm with his father and brother. He attended school in Weber County and graduated from Weber High School.

Mike married Faye Adams on December 27, 1041 in Malad, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized on June 17, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married 63 years.

Mike was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a High Priest and had been a Ward Teacher. He loved his family, as well as father and mother-in-law, Hazen and Sylvie Adams.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He loved his country and served proudly.

Mike worked 30 years at the Defense Depot Ogden as a supervisor. He was well like by his fellow employees.

Surviving are his wife of Washington Terrace, one daughter Carol
(David) McFarland, Roy; and one grandson, Michael (Catherine)
McFarland, Roy.

He is preceded in death by one daughter, Ella Jean, his parents, and the rest of his 10 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park.
