Ethel Davis Nibert, of Malad, died Tuesday, December 29, 1992, in Boise. Memorial services were held Saturday, January 2, at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, Boise. Reverend S. Norman Naugler offi­ciated. Inurnment will be in Malad at a later date.

Ethel was born December 23, 1899, at Malad. She was the last surviving child of Griffith and Hannah Bell Davis. She married Caleb 0. Nibert on July 2? 1925. She lived 90 years within sight of the place where she was born. After selling her home, she moved into an apartment complex with some of her life-long friends close by. She moved to Boise in 1988.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church; a fifty-year member of Acacia Chapter, Order of Eastern Star in Malad; and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter, Neva Jean Murray; son-in-law, Jack Murray; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Murray, Michael Murray, and Laurie Adkins and her husband, Lorn; four great grandchildren, John Caleb, Sara Ann and Jodie Adkins, and Lisa Miller, all of Boise.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Caleb; three sisters, Edith Thomas, Helen Folland, and Isabel Tovey; and two brothers, Griff and Joe Davis.
