Erma Aimira Price Moss, our beloved mother and grandmother, was called home to her Father in Heaven and her eternal companion, Dec. 5, 1997. She was living at the Logan Nursing and Rehab Center in Logan, Utah.
Erma A. Wright was born April 7, 1909 in Murray, Utah to James Henry and Edith Aimira Apgood Wright. She married Loren Price of Malad, Idaho on Jan. 4, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with four children: Loren Eldon, Mary Lois, Karen and Darrel Wright. Her husband, Loren, died Oct. 29, 1958.
Erma married Samuel Lloyd Petersen in 1963, they were later divorced. On Nov. 13, 1972, she married Elmer Moss.
During Erma’s youth, she loved to sing and dance. She met Loren at the old “Berthana” dance hall in Ogden, Utah. When they were married they moved to Malad, where they began their lives together. After they raised their children, Erma returned to school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for many years in hospitals in Malad, Pocatello and Ogden. After retiring in Ogden, Erma and Elmer were married. They enjoyed their later years traveling and doing things for their family. Each winter they lived in Mesa, Arizona, enjoying the warm sun and all their friends. During the summer, they would raise beautiful flowers in Ogden and travel to Bear Lake to enjoy their mobile home and the clear blue lake. Erma was very proud of her flowers, climbing sweet peas and roses were her favorites. She loved to crochet and make hand crafts.
Erma is survived by her husband, Elmer, of Ogden, her children: Loren Eldon Price of Paso Robies, Calif., Lois (Khalil) Monson of Pocatello, Idaho, and Darrel (Gwen) Price of Smithfield, Utah; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; a brother, James Woodrow (Rae) Wright of St. George, Utah; sisters, Louise Adamson and Edith Rae (Raymond) Olson, both of Twin Falls, Idaho; step daughters Doris (Dick) Evans and Evelyn (Bob) Potter, both of Ogden, Utah.
