Services Friday For E. Russell South Who Died Tuesday

Enoch Russell South, 45 died at his home in Malad Tuesday evening following a lingering illness.

Mr. South was born July 21, 1909 at Trade, Tennessee, a son of Charles Ross and Ethel Eggers South. When five years of age, he moved with his parents to the Malad Valley where they engaged in farming. He was graduated from Malad high school and was a member of the L.D.S. Church. He married Myrtle Anderson, November 9, 1929, at Malad. He was owner of the South Floral Company at the time of his death. He was a member of the Malad Lions Club. Eagles Lodge Aerie 2042 and Woodmen of the World.

Surviving are his widow of Malad, three sons and one daughter; Betty Lou South, of Salt Lake City; R. Duane South, Pocatello; Gordon A. South, with the U.S. Marines at El Torro, Santa Anna, California; Kerry South, of Malad; one grandchild; and one brother, Lee South, of Dillon, Montana.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the Malad Second L.D.S. Ward Chapel with Bishop Myron Sorenson officiating.

Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home Thursday evening and Friday until time of services. Interment will be made in the Malad City Cemetery.

Funeral Friday For Russel South

Funeral services for Russel South, who died May 31, were held Friday at the Second ward chapel with Counselor Gordon Crowther officiating and giving the obituary.

Prayer at the home was offered by Joseph Isaacson; invocation at the church, E. N. Crowther; benediction, Milton Whitworth; dedicatory prayer, Guy Benson. The speakers were Thos.(sic) W. Richards and Bishop Myron Sorenson. Musical numbers were a vocal solo, Stillman Harris; duet, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Fifield; prelude and postlude music, Shirley South.
