Edwin E. Foglesong

FOGLESONG, EDWIN E., March 21, 1911 – August 18, 1968

Funeral services were held Wednesday for Edwin E. Foglesong, age 57, who died August 18 of natural causes at the home of a daughter in Garland.

Lyde Facer, LDS counselor, officiated. Family prayer was offered by Myron Jones, Jr; the invocation by Bishop Earl Gillies and the benediction by Ross Rudd. Speakers were Richard Rampton and Reginald A. Babb, Daniel Nelson presented a vocal solo and Zona Parkinson and Orvella Evans, a duet. The accompanist was Ethel Forsberg, who also played the prelude and postlude music. Raiford G. Benson offered the dedicatory prayer. Military rites were conducted by American Legion, Ernest W. Jones Post No. 65.

Casket bearers were Rodney Treyman, Larry Facer, Ed Fritz, Garry Babb, Brent Millward and Warren Millward.

Mr. Foglesong was born March 21, 1911 at Loretto, NB. After his first wife died, he married Ruby L. Richards on September 1, 1948 in Salt Lake City. She died November 4, 1966. They operated a café at Malad and in Grantsville, UT.

He was a member of the Baptist Church and a World War II veteran.

Surviving are 11 sons and daughters, 22 grandchildren and two sisters.

Burial at Malad City Cemetery was directed by Benson Funeral Home.
