Former Maladian Dies of Accident Injuries

Funeral services were held Dec. 15th (1966) in Ely, Nevada for Edwin Dewey Arnn, 67, of Ely and former Malad resident, who died Dec. 11th (1966) in a Salt Lake City hospital of injuries suffered in an automobile accident Nov. 8th at Ely.

Mr. Arnn was born April 28, 1899, Newton, Cache County, Ut., to William Franklin and Mary Barker Arnn. The family later moved to Malad.

Mr. Arnn married Vesta Jones in 1923 at Ely. He was employed as a locomotive engineer by Kennecott Copper Corp. at Ruth, Nevada. He was a member of the Ely Community Methodist Church and belonged to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Survivors include his widow; a son, Edwin Dewey, Jr., Phoenix, Arizona; daughter, Helen Marie Dorray, Mill Valley, Calif., sisters, Mrs. Maude Mifflin, East Ely, Nevada; Mary Bake, Salt Lake City.
