Edward Hyrum Pingel

Edward Hyrum Pingel died May 15, 1983 in the Pocatello Regional Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born August 27, 1909, in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Henry and Louisa N. Pingel.

He married Helen S. Wright on the 30th day of July, 1930 in the Logan Temple. She was the daughter of Herchel G. and Beatrice Maude Swingard Wright. They were the parents of three sons and three daughters. His wife preceded him in death on the 7th of March, 1962.

He was well known in Malad as a carpenter and projectionist at the Star and Adelea theaters in Malad. They lived in Malad until 1960 when they moved to Kaysville, Utah, where he worked for Rusco Signs and Buildings.

He married Leona B. Marshall of Blackfoot, Idaho on the 7th of December, 1962 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They lived in Kaysville for a short time, then moved to American Falls where he was employed at Lamb-Weston.

He died of Cancer, and is survived by his widow of American Falls, son Ed Ray Pingel of Garland, Utah; daughter, Helen Louise Hess, of Garland, Utah; son, Robert Dee Pingel, of Tremonton; son, Melvin H. Pingel of Burley, Idaho; daughter, Berniece Fay of Brigham, Utah and daughter Shelia Kay Bloxham of Pocatello, Idaho.

He has one brother, Henry B. Pingel, Malad, Idaho; and two sisters, L. Smith, Woodland, California and Ruth H. Peabody of Baker, Oregon.

Funeral service will be in American Falls, Idaho and the burial in Kaysville, Utah.
