Edna Dell Pack Owens, 75, of 1025 E. 5625 So., died Monday, August 1, 1988, at McKay-Dee Hospital of respiratory failure.
She was born October 10, 1912, in Malad, Idaho, to Loren Leigh and Susannah Price Peck.
She married John Thurston Owens September 17, 1934, in Malad, Idaho. He died September 12, 1963.
She was reared and educated in Malad, Idaho.
She moved to Utah in 1943 and was employed by McKesson-Robbins as a telephone sales representative. She had also worked for McKay-
Dee Hospital in the admitting office.
She was a member of the Main Point LDS Ward.
She enjoyed sports.
Surviving are two sons: John Peck Owens, M.D., LaSelva Beach, California, Don Loren Owens, Fair Oaks, California; one daughter Mrs. Jay (Thora Sue) Smith, Ogden; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also surviving are a stepmother, Bertha Peck, Stockton, California; two brothers, Boyd Peck, Reno, Nevada, Samuel Peck, San Diego, California; one half-brother, Richard Peck, Stockton, California; and one half-sister, Katherine Marie Corum.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Services were held Thursday at Leavitt’s Chapel of Flowers Mortuary, 836 36th Street, with Bishop Randall Parkinson officiating.
Interment was in the Malad City Cemetery, Malad, Idaho
