Mrs. Edith R. Owens, 63 of 2505 North 19th St. died Wednesday evening in a Boise hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Owens was born in South Wales, England, Nov. 16, 1890, and came to America with her parents from England in 1898. The family settled in Heckland, Ind. And Mrs. Owens moved with her husband to Malad from Indianapolis, Ind. in 1932. The couple came to Boise from Malad in 1942.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors are her husband, William L. Owens of Boise; one son, Charles E. Owens of Boise; one daughter, Mrs. Della Bacon of St. Louis, Mo., and five grandchildren.
Two of Mr. and Mrs. Owens’ sons, Lawrence and Harold V. were killed during World War 11.
