Doyle Lavour Williams, (1927)

WILLIAMS, DOYLE LAVOUR, December 1, 1927 – January 15, 2004

Doyle Lavour Williams, 76, passed away January 15, 2004 at Inland Valley Regional Medical Center in Wildomar, California, following a stroke.

He was born in Malad, Idaho on December 1, 1927, the son of Lavour and Bernice Leigh Williams. He married Ardith Joan Erickson Morgan on September 18, 1982 in Los Angeles. They have lived in Lake Elsimore, California for the last 14 years.

Doyle enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during World War Ii in 1945-46. After serving in the Army, he moved to Los Angeles where he went to work for Fansteel PSM and put in over 40 years of service as plant engineer and maintenance manager. He retired in 1994.

Doyle and Ardith traveled a lot after his retirement. They would go to Iowa and Malad every year to visit family, attend reunions and do a log of fishing, which was his second love.

He is survived by his wife, Ardith of Lake Elsinore, two stepdaughters, Donna Hinton, Garden Grove, CA and Kathy Spencer, Lancaster, California; and one stepson, Edward Morgan, Salt Lake City, UT.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lavour and Bernice; two sisters, Darlene B. Roderick, Judy K. Wharton; one brother, Daniel B. “Buster” Williams; and one brother-in-law Henry Roderick.

No services are planned. Interment will be in the Riverside National Cemetery, California.
