Dorothy Rasmussen, Rockland dies Sunday in American Falls

Dorothy Rasmussen, 82, Rockland, died in the Harms Memorial Hospital in American Falls December 26, 1982.

She was born January 2, 1900, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Edwin W. and Eliza Goldsbury Wilcox. She graduated from Wayne Normal School and taught school in Lincoln, Nebraska. On July 24, 1935 she married Nels Rasmussen. He died in 1963. In 1964 she moved to Menio Park, California.

She was a member of the AARP; Eastern Star American Legion Auxiliary; honorary member of the War Mothers; and the Methodist Church at Inman, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a brother, Courtney E. Wilcox, Erie, Pa., and many nieces and nephews.
