STEIMLE, DENNIS MARK – November 15, 1945 – May 17, 2003

Dennis Mark Steimle 11/15/45 – 5/17/03. Dennis loved to cast his line and sparkling blue eyes on the beauty of nature. He has returned to heaven and will fish there as well. Dennis was born in Ogden, Utah to Margaret White and Maxwell Stephens Steimle. He served in the United States Air Force. He graduated from the University of Utah in sociology. He taught deaf and blind children. He then worked as an adult probation/parole officer for the Department of Corrections for 28 years. He loved his family and the Lord. In his own words, “Most of all I want to do right by my family. I love my children so much. I need the Lord and his help and guidance in all that I do.” He especially enjoyed the outdoors, poetry and telling stories.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Anna Laurie; children, Matthew and Angela; brother Richard (Sharon); sisters Georgia Archibald (Dennis), Elaine Gartin; and his dog Buddy.

Services will be held Thursday, May 29 at 11:00 a.m., 7035 S. Nutree Dr. Friends and family may call from 10-11 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Memorial Estates.
