Daniel Dee Williams, 17 January 1928

PLYMOUTH – Daniel Dee Williams, 74, died June 13, 2002 at the Brigham City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born January 17, 1928 in Malad, ID, the son of Benjamin and Nora Bell Williams. He married Aileen Archibald on October 5, 1946 in Plymouth, UT. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on May 12, 1964.

Dee had lived in Malad, Ogden and Plymouth. He served in the US Army during World War Ii. He loved horses, to hunt and fish. He was active in the Bear River Valley Cutter Assoc., coached women’s softball and young men’s basketball. He loved his family and especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor, always having a story or joke to tell.

He was a High Priest in the Belmont 1st Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he had served in the Young Men’s organization, as a ward clerk and a home teacher.

He is survived by his wife, Aileen; his children, Aloa (Mark) Peterson, Malad; Debra (Dan) Chournos, Tremonton; Greg D. (Linda) Williams, Brigham City; Martin D. (Johnel) Williams, Tremonton; Todd D. (Janet) Williams, Bothwell; Kevin D. (Lori) Williams, Garland; Trena (Guy) Harris, Bothwell; 34 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; brothers, Clem (Lou), Malad; Grant (Wilma), Mink Creek; Ken of Cherry Creek; sisters, Mona (Melvin) Bird and LaVene John, both of Malad; sister in law, Grace Williams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Wayne; granddaughter, Mandee; brothers in law, Cecil John and Virgil Weidman.

Funeral services will be held June 17, 2002 at the Belmont LDS 1st Ward Chapel. Interment will be in the Plymouth Cemetery.
