KEMP, DAHRL REID, September 30, 1922 – February 11, 2008

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend returned home peacefully to her Father in Heaven surrounded by her family on February 11, 2008.

Dahrl was born September 30, 1922 in Malad, Idaho to Pearl Jones and Andrew Reid. She married her childhood sweetheart, Keith William Kemp, December 2, 1940 in Salt lake City. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1995. Keith and Dahrl are the parents of three children, Sandra, Skip and Lana.

Dahrl’s beauty, elegance and class were felt by each life she touched. Her charming and witty personality brought smiles and laughter to every conversation. She was a woman of strength and courage who taught life lessons through her example. Her youthful, vibrant energy was expressed in her love for her family and friends.

Survived by her son, Keith Sheldon “Skip” (Sandy), daughter, Lana Kemp (Dennis) Smith, nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, daughter, Sandra K. Bowers, parents, brothers, Andrew Vernon and Owen Jones Reid, and a sister, Caludette Reid.

Funeral services will be held February 15, 2008 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, Sandy
